Antique pegleg was seen at the St Augustine Pirate and Treasure Museum.
A pegleg is a prosthesis, or artificial limb, fitted to the remaining stump of a human leg. Its use dates to antiquity. A description of Pirate Long John Silver as being tall and sinewy strong. He uses a wooden peg in place of his missing leg.
